Was that really an RPM from ntop.org?  We don't post them there - only at
SourceForge.  

As you can now see, it's hard to support other people's rpms, which is why
we ask you "Where did you get that from".  If I had to guess, somebody was
being clever and forcing -d via configureextra.

Thanks, I know the -d forces it - it was not included. I now have it
working. Clearly the rpm I downloaded from the ntop.org site had issues on
my system. The CVS is performing as expected.
