Burton,

As soon as I tried to start it up to log to console and it
wouldn't I figured the rpm was the source of the problem. 

I'm not sure (now) where I got the rpm from, I was sure I
got it from a link at ntop.org. But in the end you're
probably right - sourceforg.

At anyrate, its working now. There are a couple of issues
I'm seeing, as I work through wether they are
configuration/missing lib's whatever I'll ask for help.

The one I do know of right now is when I click
IP/Local/Network Traffic Map I get an error "Missing 'dot'
tool..." What is the dot tool and where can I get it?
