Hi Ismael, i have searched any docs that explain techniques to clone a freebsd system many use dump utility look at here : http://tomclegg.net/freebsdclone you clone your system in the same manner? try this, clone on the fly :) What version of freebsd are you running? what do you have made after restore?

Yes,the dump is a image of the disk that is make with the utility dump and then is restored in another machine with the "restore" utility. The two machines had the same hardware (Shuttle sb52g2 with a pentium 4 2.66 and one disk ide at mount point ad0). There is only one mount point the "/" The plugins exist in the path and the permissions are full acces "chmod 777". I have not check the integrity but the rest of the system works fine and the image has been built many times. It is possible that every time i make the image they corrupt in the same point? The dump utility may not preserve permissions or links?
