Currently I am monitoring both interfaces, internal as well es external.
The behaviour noted below occurs on the internal interface eth0. I have
also tried eth1 but this only shows hosts outside the LAN and the actual
"localhost" (the firewall). I have uploaded a snapshot of the local to
remote overview here http://utopia4.de/tmp/ntop/ for clarification.

Which interface are you monitoring traffic on?

Subject: [Ntop] ntop and NAT

Hi,

I have ntop running on a linux box which is a NAT router for our local
network. This is running fine, so far, but I noticed one annoying issue:
Any host on the LAN is named "localhost". The links refer to the correct
IP address but it is impossible to get a quick overview of the network
load / traffic when every host is called "localhost". Is there any way
to get around this?

Thanks in advance,
Daniel
