Have you downloaded and compiled RRd?

i am trying to install ntop 3.3 on debian lenny, but i receive the following error:

configure: error: Unable to find RRD at /usr/local/rrdtool: please use --with-rrd-home=DIR

my rrd plugin is installed under /usr/bin/rrdtool, but still doesn't work.
