Dear All,
I downloaded the recent release of ntop (3.3.7) from the sourceforge website. I followed the instruction provided in the docs folder (BUILD-NTOP.txt). I did on terminal:
*/./autogen.sh/*
but it printed out an error message at the last saying that libpcap is not installed. I also try to run it as root user, and even tried the /*./configure*/ independently, but all attempt returned the same error

configure: error: The LBL Packet Capture Library, libpcap, was not found! /

I'm using Fedora 9, and when I checked out if libpcap was installed using
/*rpm -qa | grep libpcap*/ it showed:

/libpcap-0.9.8-2.fc9.i386

/and when i did  /*ls /usr/lib/ | grep libpcap*/, it showed

/libpcap.so.0.9
libpcap.so.0.9.8

/I'm amazed to how solve this problem and Install Ntop. I really need it for monitoring. I hope someone from the list could help me with this problem.
Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Abhishek Singh
