Dear Students/Parents/Guardians/Staff/Community Members of North Toronto
Collegiate Institute:

Re: Field and Track Completion

This letter is to inform you that the construction for the new track and field
at North Toronto Collegiate Institute is proceeding on schedule. This work
consists of demolishing the old NTCI building and constructing a new artificial
turf field and four lane track along with landscaping and metal fence. The work
will be completed for the start of the 2011 school year.

The work started September 7, 2010 and will be completed by September 5, 2011.
As with all our school projects, safety measures are in place to protect
students and staff during construction. Access to the construction area has
been hoarded and isolated from the school. We have worked with your school's
Principal Joel Gorenkoff, to ensure the work will be coordinated to minimize
the impact of construction on school operations. All contractors are aware of
the need to schedule any work creating excessive dust and noise after school
hours as much as possible.

Residents will be able to contact the Toronto District School Board (TDSB)
immediately if any concerns arise during construction. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to call Ehab Kamarah, TDSB Project Supervisor
at 416-577-1534.

We look forward to completing the "new" North Toronto Collegiate Institute
project that will enhance our students' learning experience. Thank you for your
on-going support and your patience during this period of change.

Sincerely,

Shelley Laskin
