Seems most of the disks tonight are Fuji disks with a few others mixed in. Jon From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [NTSysADM] Floppy disk recovery tool Date: Wed, 17 Jul 2013 00:10:55 -0400
Might if I still had any DOS Disks but I am using Hyper-V, guess I could crank up a VM Workstation. I did find a bunch of Norton Utilities back from when Peter Norton still owned the company. Does that work? It requires a supported OS to run though and Windows 8 and 7 don't hack it. I still have to build a system to get to the 5.25" disks and the 100 and 250 Zip disks so I will get a change to check them on another drive. The only good thing is I don't have any 8" disks to deal with! Have you ever worked with the IBM PS2 3.5"drives? Those beasts would format any 3.5" disk to 1.44 if you told it too. Then they could only be read on the IBM drive. I just hope that is not what these are.
