In any event the more restrictive right takes precedence. If NTFS says “everyone: none” and the share permission says “everyone:all” the effective rights are “none.” Have you used the resulting permissions tool? Did I miss something obvious when creating the share, in 03 i dont remember this occurring. OS 2008r2 clients xp and win7 TIA j
