Not ironic. In this case, a cost/benefit analysis. The problem outlined in TFA is not that it's collecting data, but that a) the button that purports to turn that off doesn't, and b) LG's attitude that the store which sold it to him is responsible for making him understand that, so tough noogies. Lies, and poor customer service - that's the crux of the matter. Kurt
