Certain Java based applications don't work so hot over Join.Me and I've had to coach users on what they have to do while I can kind of see what is happening. The rendering on Join.Me can also be painful as well. Also keyboard shortcuts can disconnect the session. Such a sad day to lose free LogMeIn...:(

I think it might be possible to even set it as RDP over SSL, but it's been years since I looked at that. For the others, tho, I would really need it to be remote control so that the other party can watch what I am doing. And that they wouldn't need to open ports on a router, etc. I will look into join.em, thanks. > > > On 21 January 2014 14:03, Michael Leone <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Got this notice today: >> >> As of January 21, 2014, LogMeIn Free will no longer be available. >> >> Came as news to me, I hadn't heard ahead of time that they were going >> to discontinue this service.
