Sad day indeed. I did a quick peek at join.me, and noticed it is "made" by
logmein. So, how long will that remain free????

Hmmmm

Recommendations?

Certain Java based applications don't work so hot over Join.Me and I've had to
coach users on what they have to do while I can kind of see what is happening.
The rendering on Join.Me can also be painful as well. Also keyboard shortcuts
can disconnect the session. Such a sad day to lose free LogMeIn...:(

Well, for my own needs at home, I suppose I can probably set up RDP. I think it
might be possible to even set it as RDP over SSL, but it's been years since I
looked at that. For the others, tho, I would really need it to be remote
control so that the other party can watch what I am doing. And that they
wouldn't need to open ports on a router, etc.

I will look into join.em, thanks.
