Not my environment. I'm just doing some work on a desktop deployment for
them, and they need to stop users from changing the proxy. The settings via
the Charms bar conveniently ignore the GPOs for disabling access to the
proxy settings. It may not be the ideal networking setup, but this client
have been able to control this access via GPO for the last twelve years or
so, so for Windows 8 to arbitrarily ignore this is a bit of a major PITA
for them.
