I think I'm in a position where I might need to purchase RDS/TS CALs from MS. Never done it before, and I have no idea how it works.
Overview: There is ONE app in my company that won't work on Windows 7+. It will only work on XP or Server 2003. Darn it. My thoughts: The App runs fine on Server 2003, which is supported for another year. I can install the App on a new Server, and give TWO users Remote Desktop access to that machine, and they can use the app there. Great. But I have no idea how TS licensing works. I'm pretty sure I need to license this, since it's not for remote administration. Right? Any input on how this works? Do I have to buy in 5 packs like a lot of other MS cals? Ideally, I could just buy 2 CALs. Open License program. Thanks!
