Let me rephrase Client:
I have 5 servers that I want on mtc which includes monitoring/ensuring backups complete/and patching, how many labor hours? Anything else, (upgrades, new application install, hardware replacement etc..) is billed on per hour basis. Response to client: The server mtc is X hours per month per server. solve for X, and does X make a difference whether it physical or virtual? That is what I'm trying to gauge Subject: Re: [NTSysADM] SOT: mtc time To: [email protected] From: [email protected] Date: Tue, 15 Jul 2014 13:15:43 +0000 I'm more consultative than actually involved in managing "stuff", but I charge about 50 pounds an hour for remote work and 60-65 for on-site. That's how much my time is worth generally - travel expenses excluded. If someone wants me to "manage" something, then I'd just charge for the time I actually spend doing it. Thanks,
