  And some of the embedded platforms/standards out there might
actually have a higher incidence, simply because there are so darn
many itty-bitty devices, though counting them is a challenge.

  And if you really want to shift paradigms without a clutch, it could
be argued that "the web" is the biggest platform of them all.  Some
days, seems like everything that isn't web-based is trying to pretend
it is.
