First log on to the Core server, type “sconfig” and choose the option to allow Remote Management. If the Windows FW is running, you most likely need to do this.

You’re essentially trying to manage it from a Win7 equivalent. You are correct that there are ‘services and features’ missing from Core. That’s why they call it Core. Pretty much all the GUI stuff is unavailable. Any feedback is appreciated.
