Thank you everyone I got my CD’s ripped and loaded to my thumb drive so I
can play them in the car!  Some of them were a real bear to get ripped.
The worse ones were the ones from CDs created from original recordings
dating back to the ‘20s.

Have you ever tried CUERipper? I am using it since a year, and while it
seems too spartan at first and focused mainly on the quality of the rip
more than its speed, it’s a very nice app. I save my ripped tracks as FLAC,
