Yes,  as semi-sarcastic as I may have come off,  I am pretty fed up with it.  I've delved into all the possible solutions and including muscle relaxants and nothing has helped.  I will give your idea a shot.  I am open for anything.  Thanks! :)

I think your question was asked seriously so ... I whacked my neck & back
big time in a car accident - funny thing - after months of physiotherapy &
pills and pins all that worked was using a chair at work with no wheels - no
pressure tilt on the back rest etc. My physiotherapist recommended I try it
as he believes people constantly and subconsciously tighten and relax muscle
groups to counteract a chair with wheels tendency to slide back. Anyhow that
and keeping my chin tucked in and not extended out like Jay Leno worked for
me.
