Thanks, Andrew. The problem with Group Policies (we're all W2K) or system
policy editor in NT is that the settings are continually enforced at each
logon. I only want to set the default values so that users aren't
prompted to configure some app. But I want to allow them to re-config
later if they need.
Re: Multi-Remote, I script remote reg edits/queries with various
programming languages, principally winbatch. Maybe more work, but
cheaper...
