I remember seeing something in the past on a laptop where you could define your
resolution and desktop area differently. If the desktop area was bigger it
would scroll. Alas long ago, don't remember where I saw it.

Sounds like its definitely worth the effort then. I've yet to see a
non-manufacturer supplied driver do this - but if you find one, please post
back with the details.

yeah, I've only been in touch via email with this guy, hope to have it in my
hands to see for myself. Good guy, but not proficient at all with computers,
but this summer he fixed my A/C compressor for a handshake instead of the
hundreds $$ that the other company estimated. Figured I'd post up here in case
anyone had one of these Sony UMPCs already.

Greetings !

I've got a friend that just picked up one of those UMPCs (a Sony) with a 4.5"
screen, running Vista 'business' on it. Anyone know offhand of a utility that
will let him configure a larger 'virtual screen' and let him use the 4.5
display to scroll around this larger screen ?

Thanks in advance
