In which case my point stands even more. He shouldn't be putting his personal tweaks and preferences there for everyone (or at all really).

Brian, I see your point, and i'm not disagreeing.....but I will point out that the Jason Samuel post does go through copying a profile over into the default profile.... If that is followed, then the profile specific customizations would stick. You may want to update your blog post to reflect/address this, otherwise people may.get the idea.that you didn't read the whole article. Ditto the SumatraPDF reader. That's what I use on the server for those rare occasions when I'm on the server console and need to reference some mfg docs. Our "NETBIN" share is full of stand-alone utilities like that. Update them in once place and you're done. I wish more software was like that. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
