I wouldn't wait much. as long as Repadmin, DCdiag and the EventViewer are
clear it's a GO for me.

Subject: Changing Schema Master

Hi All,

I wonder if you could help please. Last evening I introduced an additional
windows server 2008 domain controller into my domain with a view to
decommissioning and replacing the current schema master. Are there any best
practices around how long I should let the new DC 'bed in' before I change
it to the schema master?

Thanks,
Mark
