Having run a personal mailman server in the past, I must agree with the general sentiment.
* Having a list is a great value. Countless tips, tricks, fixes and laughs have come from this list. * Having a quick response can be extremely important. Conversations are clearer, and sometimes you need a quick reply. * Lyris vs Mailman vs Google Groups vs whatever: I don't care. It could be a custom script running on a hacked PS3. I just want it stable and reasonable. It sounds like Lyris is being unreasonable. --Matt Ross Ephrata School District ----- Original Message ----- From: James Rankin [mailto:[email protected]] To: NT System Admin Issues [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Fri, 27 Jan 2012 08:54:40 -0800 Subject: Re: List response time is abysmal > Good idea.
