Hey Guys. I'm looking for a hardened ethernet switch. In particular, I'm looking for something that...
A) Can handle a high temperature range. It's going to be inside a small building without heat or AC, and it can get both very hot and cold out here. B) Can be mounted in a 19 inch wall enclosure (we're thinking this one: http://www.tripplite.com/en/products/model.cfm?txtModelID=5047) C) Has fiber uplinks or GBIC slots (There is an existing 1000baseSX to the building) D) And doesn't cost too much. Under a grand would be nice, but I'll settle for under $2k. Thus far, I have looked at Moxa and EtherWAN. Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations. --Matt Ross Ephrata School District ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
