Ken, On HV guests the time snch feature really doesn't work. I contacted Meinberg and they told me that their product is not made to run on a Guest OS. VMware or HV. Our experience with NTP on HV guests is that there is way too much fluctuation and the time never stays within the limits. When you look at the server's clock the time is always what it should be. So it is getting off by 500ms or whatever the limit is.
