When we moved our data center a few years ago, we left the servers
intact and moved them. After making Full backups of each system, we had
a "Data Center Specialist" moving company come in and pack the servers
and move them to the new site. They unload them and placed them in the
computer room. We then racked them and began powering them on. We lost 2
hard drives out of 200 servers. All RAID 5 arrays. We had spare drives
handy. We had previously installed new main routers and switches along
with all CAT 6 cabling. We were up and running in 36 hours.

Good luck,
Dave

My thoughts are indeed with you.

Pull all the disk drives, label them, pack them, and ship them
separately.
