I think this rant has gone far enough. If you like Dell's and like their service buy Dell's. If you like IBM's and like their support buy IBM. I personally like the keyboards on the IBM's, however, I have used Dell's at places I have worked and they were fine. Some people swear by Toshiba's. We all have different experiences with vendors products and their support so I don't think there is a right answer.

IBM's base warranty price is also significantly higher than Dell. Again: If you want cheap service, Dell is happy to give it to you. Your whole issue with Dell seems to be based on the fact that they gave exactly what was asked for and paid for. -- Ben ~ Upgrade to Next Generation Antispam/Antivirus with Ninja! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt-software.com/SunbeltMessagingNinja.cfm> ~ ~ Upgrade to Next Generation Antispam/Antivirus with Ninja! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt-software.com/SunbeltMessagingNinja.cfm> ~
