This is a decent forum I found a while back that was helpful for me though
I'm not sure if they discuss your phone system there.

With my Inter-Tel system, if I need a particular station to ring longer
before going to VM, I route it through through a longer fowarding paths
before it goes there.Bsically it rings back to itself a couple of times
before going to VM.

Subject: [OT] NEC Phone system
This is a bit OT but I'm hoping theres other folks who work at a company
which assumes the IT guy must be able to do everything that has a
transistor
in it.
We've got an old NEC Electra Professional Level 2 system, and one
particular
port, whichever extension I assign to that port, it rings like 20 times
before going to voicemail. Every other port goes after 3 or 4 rings.
I have the installation service manual, but if you've ever tried to
decipher
it, you'd understand how this is really like running around in circles.
So, anyone possibly able to lead me into what PBX-speak terminology I
might
be looking for?
