Strike 1 - Outlook attachment checking is seriously flawed and has to be disabled, however if you disable it and the add-in loads then you get an attachment error. Resolved by having it only check certain filetypes (bat/vbs). This is talked about a lot in forums.
Strike 2 - I found 1-2gb if .tmp folders/files in the program files \ common files \ Symantec shared \ virusdefs folder. Apparently this has been happening and is well known. Strike 3 - If you have java 1.06 the deployment console wont work you have to remove all the java version and let Symantec install it for you through the web interface. Updating afterwards to 1.06 seems to break the console getting an app notinited. Didn't find any complaints about this but I didn't look too long. Thanks and enjoy your rollout as I have :-) ~ Upgrade to Next Generation Antispam/Antivirus with Ninja! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt-software.com/SunbeltMessagingNinja.cfm> ~
