Strike 1 - Outlook attachment checking is seriously flawed and has to be
disabled, however if you disable it and the add-in loads then you get an
attachment error.  Resolved by having it only check certain filetypes
(bat/vbs). This is talked about a lot in forums.

 

Strike 2 - I found 1-2gb if .tmp folders/files in the program files \ common
files \ Symantec shared \ virusdefs folder. Apparently this has been
happening and is well known.

 

Strike 3 - If you have java 1.06 the deployment console wont work you have
to remove all the java version and let Symantec install it for you through
the web interface.  Updating afterwards to 1.06 seems to break the console
getting an app notinited. Didn't find any complaints about this but I didn't
look too long.
