They also make the point that if you upgrade to 64 bit, just to be able to
use that gig between 3 and 4 that you are being counterproductive as much of
that extra is taken up by 64 bit addressing and some larger binaries.  So if
you make the jump to 64 bit, make a big jump in memory.
