I use Godaddy and have been for a few years and they're pretty good. The only problem I had with them was when they charged me $80 to renew a domain name I had allowed to expire. I thought this was kinda high considering the fact that I was still within my grace period of loosing the domain. Other than that I'd recommend them as my first choice.
