MBS,

 

I would love to use WDS, however, I don't think it's a viable option b\c
I'll be staging laptops that I won't be able to see until the time of
staging.  The customer can't provide an inventory list, so I feel I must
cover all possible scenarios via 3rd party apps mention in my OP.  

 

Do you agree?

OK, here we go...

 

Need to lay down an image on 3,000 customer laptops that will be used as
"single purpose appliances", however, the only thing they have in
common, there all Dell.  My first thoughts are Acronis + UIU, however, I
wanted to solicit some feedback from my favorite collective.
