First time I shot a .50, I cleared the benches. Literally.
I touched it off, and the fellows next to me on either side had left some rounds of various sizes, a spotting scope and a couple of small mats on their benches. They were standing behind me, and the contents of the benches ended up on the ground from the redirected muzzle blast. What a rush.
