It’s a give and take thing.  Spiceworks has always been that way.  You just 
have to figure out whether or not you trust their security stream.

In the future, you'll actually see more companies doing this.  Microsoft is in 
deep for SaaS functionality for all of their products.  They are working on 
"Live" versions of things like ConfigMgr and OpsMgr now.

Is it just me, or does the Spiceworks TOS and the fact that they send data back 
to their parent server make this seem to be a really BAD idea to be running on 
your network?
