What do you mean by "generic"?
Are you using AD integrated DNS with "secure only" dynamic updates?

Subject: ever seen something like this before?

A generic account logins into a Terminal Server and opens up the IE,
types in .com site and receives an error that the site is not reachable.
But if you go to any other site for example a: .biz .uk .org you can
access the site.

Now if I login as the admin, I can go anywhere on the web.

TIA

Thomas
