We've been running LCS2005 front end in VMware ESX for a few years now. It does 'work'. As we have scaled up our user base, the initial connection latency for IM has been increasing dramatically. I am not yet sure where the latency is originating but shudder at the thought of doing this with the added features of OCS. We did a telephony integration pilot for LCS that worked, but it was with 10 users.
