Well, since *all* they run is the AS/400 terminal, if it breaks, it's not a major hassle. Eventually we may have to break down and put XP boxes out there or something. We're a carpet manufacturing facility and we have a *bunch* of machines running as terminals to support our manufacturing operations.

That sort of thing requires very little resources, both CPU and memory-wise. that's why an old Win9x machine is perfect for that job.
