Yes it is that bad. I work for a non-profit, and I'd need $600,000 support all users via Citrix. That's money we just don't have. I asked my vendor and Citrix pretty much doesn't participate in pricing programs like Microsoft does. I guess Citrix needs that money for all the lavish conferences it hosts. Maybe those Fed fatcats can send some money my way.

Roll out of new apps is pretty quick and you don’t have to go worry about rolling out and app to a remote desktop.
