I was able to force a scandisk on C: drive via UBCD. Waited for scandisk to finish and now it comes up with no issues. Looked at the Event Viewer/System Log and found the reason that it was shutting down at login was because the COM+ Service was not running and it there was an issue trying to report that to the event viewer log system.
