  Make a full disk image backup before making changes, in case you
make the wrong changes.  Acronis is bootable.  So is Linux
SysRescueCD.

  You could toss another hard disk into the computer, install Windows
on to that, and use that to mount the production disk set and try and
pick through the pieces that way.  (Or, if you can't do another disk,
a parallel install into a different directory (not C:\WINDOWS) may be
doable, but it may replace stuff elsewhere on the disk without
asking.)

  Your goal should be first to identify the service that's killing
itself.  If it's non-essential, you can just disable it.  If it's the
LSA, CSR, etc., you have to fix the cause.
