My wife's hardware was busted under XP x64, so I did a clean install to Win7
x64 Ultimate. It was a dream. I especially loved it when it came up with
the wireless connections to choose from.

My daughter's was an in-place upgrade over Vista, and that took a little
longer, with lots of reboots, but she's working fine and lost no data.

I haven't decided if I will do my home laptop as a clean rebuilt as yet, but
that's likely. Just went to make sure all the data gets synchronized to my
remote folders first.

My desktop will be an in-place upgrade from Vista x64 Ultimate to Win7 x64
Ultimate, as I have lots of disk space and a pretty clean install going on
there.

I'll probably perform a clean install for the boys' desktop which is the
only remaining XP system in our house.
