It no longer looks independent but it does load independent, that said there
is now, or appears to be now anyway, desktop gadgets and sidebar gadgets.  I
am not looking at that at the moment.  I am trying to get the look and
feel.  UAC seems to be quieter but will still prompt. There is now a way to
turn it off without having to dig for the menu item.
