One of my users has an HP Pavilion laptop and he called me this morning to show me something that he says was starting to pop up more and more often. I took a look at it, and never having seen it before, clicked on “help → About” and it turned out to be MSINFO.
I looked at all his startups and his event log and didn’t see anything that might have happened right before he called me. Anyone have any idea why he might start having this pop up more and more frequently? He says that typically, no matter what he does, the laptop shuts down on him shortly after seeing the window pop up. Thanks!
