Extract the drivers, and look for the HPBPRO and HBOID.exe files, and the HP Port resolver and HP Status Server Services on your print server ( use a VM with a snap pre and post driver installation) then test.
I would probably side to yes they still have a problem, but without testing I cant say for certain.
