That's super news, Sherry!  I've been thinking about it myself but cost has 
always been the limiting factor for me.

Subject: OT: Follow-Up to OT Discussion

Several weeks an OT discussion occurred regarding vision correction surgery, in 
which I stated that I was going to an evaluation appt. to see if I would 
benefit from LASIK.

Well, I'm really happy to report that yes I was a good candidate and that last 
Friday, 9/11 I had the LASIK eye surgery done.  I actually had what is called 
monovision correction, this is where one eye is corrected for distance and the 
other is corrected for reading.  7 hours after the surgery I was seeing 20/15 
for distance and could read the smallest line on the reading test.  I had 
absolutely no adjustment time needed for the monovision.  


Sorry for the OT, but several people wanted to know how it worked out for me on 
this, so there ya go.
