I had the LASIK surgery done about 8 years ago. Best money spent. Back then I paid $3,000.. just for one eye!

I've had glasses/contacts for years - but I've never been evaluated 'cause I'm a big chicken! Well, I'm really happy to report that yes I was a good candidate and that last Friday, 9/11 I had the LASIK eye surgery done. I actually had what is called monovision correction, this is where one eye is corrected for distance and the other is corrected for reading. 7 hours after the surgery I was seeing 20/15 for distance and could read the smallest line on the reading test. I had absolutely no adjustment time needed for the monovision. Sorry for the OT, but several people wanted to know how it worked out for me on this, so there ya go.
