Since we're notebook users, we don't have an option for an additional video
card to get to three monitors. We've selected the EVGA UV Plus 12
adapters. They work fine over USB and I have that model driving a 19"
widescreen at 1440x900. For the few 22" users we have we purchased the UV
Plus 16. They work well and don't have any sluggishness (for office apps)
and are under $50-$80/each.

If your existing video cards are already dual display, might want to
consider these to get to the third monitor.
