If this is .NET, then there is functionality to define users entirely within .NET (e.g. stored in a config file) If this is not .NET and is just native IIS functionality, then you can certainly just create local accounts. Adjust NTFS permissions appropriately. I'm sure you know where to look to create local user accounts and local groups... Cheers Ken From: David W. McSpadden [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, 28 September 2009 10:54 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: User base login IIS 6 I want to make a user based login to a IIS 6 website. I want to disable anonymous and not us AD but local users, manually configured to this site. It is for my board and I am giving each of them local user accounts?? to access this website. But I don't know where to look for setting something like that up. ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~
