Are you using UPHClean on all your Citrix servers?

Unfortunately we still have a load of horrible apps that won't relinquish
handles or profiles when users log out from our Citrix MPS4.5 farm. We are
stuck in a 48-hourly reboot cycle - luckily, I have scripted the removal of
hung profiles and this runs nicely via a startup script.

Sam,

That was for way back when a lot of apps would not release memory properly
when run under Terminal Services/Citrix. It got so bad that Citrix actually
added the ability to schedule reboots of Citrix servers from within the mgmt
consoles. I still run into places who still believe that is necessary when
it rarely is needed anymore. That is provided you are running a modern
version of Citrix/Terminal Services. There are still a TON of places
running NT4 and MetaFrame 1.x.

Wait...

Nightly:

*       Backups

(Next Applies to Terminal Server admins only)

*       Reboot each Citrix server.
* Delete all autocreated printers stuck.
* Clear out rogue local profiles.
*       Backups

Lol, reboot each Citrix server? Really? Never used Citrix. Looks like I
shouldn't either ;)
